G DATA CyberDefense has revised its business solutions and increased the protection effect once again: Thanks to a new guard with AMSI connection, IT managers in companies not only benefit from outstanding protection against cyber attacks. Performance has also been increased and false alarms prevented. Administrators also benefit from a completely redesigned user interface. This provides an even better overview of the individual components and the network security status and enables intuitive operation. Version 15 of G DATA’s powerful business solution portfolio is now available. Companies with a valid license can upgrade to the new version free of charge.

New Guardian

When it comes to cyber security, every little detail counts. For this reason G DATA has worked on the realtime monitor once again. The result: perfect protection combined with increased performance. G DATA security solutions have already successfully demonstrated this in comparative tests conducted by independent test institutes. AV-Comparatives awarded the coveted seals "Adavanced+" and "Approved Business Security", AV-TEST awarded the security software as "Top Product". BEAST and DeepRay clearly detect malicious programs with no false alarms - this has been confirmed by independent comparative tests. In addition, thanks to enhanced BEAST technology, G DATA business solutions are now able to clean up contaminated Microsoft Office documents.

In addition, the G DATA CyberDefense business solutions now also have an AMSI interface (Antimalware Scan Interface), so that file-silent malicious code is detected and blocked even better. Malicious programs are not always used as a scannable file; only when they are executed are the components assembled to form a malicious code. In these cases the script for execution is stored in the working memory. AMSI enables the code to be checked and blocked in the case of malicious code.

Revised Dashboard

The user interface of the new G DATA business solutions has been completely revised to make the work of administrators even easier: In the new dashboard, all important information on the network can be seen at a glance. Thanks to the intuitive operation, IT managers can easily switch between individual groups or clients. In addition, the individual protection modules and their status can be viewed. It quickly becomes clear whether and where action is required.

New: Device control now also includes smartphones

Device control in the Policy Manager of G DATA Endpoint Protection now also includes mobile devices. This enables administrators to grant read and write rights, withdraw them or generally prohibit their use. In this way, they can ensure compliance with company guidelines and, for example, prevent data from reaching a smartphone without authorisation. This is possible for all mobile devices that Windows recognises as "portable devices".
