Europe's consumer protection magazines are agreed: G Data is number 1!

The German IT security provider makes a clean sweep of international tests and awards.
Bochum, 02.06.2009

"Made in Germany" virus protection is once again causing an international sensation. Consumer protection magazines in many European countries have been closely investigating Internet security packages to see just how their quality compares. The unanimous judgement of testers from Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland, France and Spain: If you want to provide your PC with the most effective and economical protection against viruses, Trojans and worms, then you can't go wrong with G Data Internet Security.

After the best-known independent testing institute in Germany, the "Stiftung Warentest", placed G Data InternetSecurity 2009 on the winner's podium for the third year in a row in April, other European consumer protection magazines are now following suit. Just like "Stiftung Warentest", the test magazines in other countries rate the quality and security of the G Data Suite higher than the comparable software of other producers.

Dr Dirk Hochstrate, Board Member G Data Software AG: "Over the last few years, the threat from online criminal activities has grown enormously. For users, it is very difficult to decide which program provides optimum protection for their home PC. Independent tests carried out by consumer protection organisations offer a clear overview of the quality of the available security solutions. As the latest European tests clearly show, G Data uses the proven, most effective protection technologies in its security packages."

G Data InternetSecurity 2009 was the product tested. Its successor, G Data InternetSecurity 2010, has been available in its latest version since April 2009, from € 29.95 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
