In the coming week G Data is releasing new versions of its powerful network solutions G Data ClientSecurity Business and ClientSecurity Enterprise to the trade. The latest business generation 10.5 provides effective shielding of the IT infrastructure against all attacks and is particularly impressive thanks to its simple operation. Thanks also to the use of intuitive administration tools, the configuration of complex client firewall rules immediately becomes child's play, so saving time and immediately and considerably lowering administration costs in medium to large sized networks. The new network versions are available from the first week in February 2010.

G Data corporate solutions are known for their high security performance and have already successfully demonstrated it in countless successful tests. Thanks to new administration tools, operation of the powerful G Data ClientSecurity Business and ClientSecurity Enterprise will be even simpler in the future. Thus program version 10.5 is equipped with a centrally administrated client-firewall, ensuring that lengthy configuration procedures and creation of rules are finally relegated to the past. In the future, system administrators will be able create new rule sets for their work groups and stationary as well as mobile clients in a trouble-free manner using dialogs, wizards or from reports.

New: Offsite configuration for notebooks
New offsite configuration enables quick reconfiguration of all firewall settings and provides administrators with a powerful and convenient control module. For mobile clients who leave the corporate network, a standard rule set is automatically set up. In addition, authorised users can also carry out firewall configuration themselves, e.g. to permit use of a hotel network. This then takes place unnoticed and fully automatically in autopilot mode. Once the staff member returns to the office, then upon reconnection to the corporate network (MMS), the "corporate" configuration is automatically readopted and set up accordingly on the client

Companies who are already using G Data ClientSecurity Business or ClientSecurity Enterprise, can, as appropriate, change over their licence agreement to version 10.5 free of charge. G Data is offering existing customers of AntiVirus Business and AntiVirus Enterprise attractive upgrade conditions if they upgrade to ClientSecurity 10.5.
